TaleTone is for playful songs about real connections, not for putting someone at risk, revealing their private information, or presenting serious accusations as fact.
The good stuff
Inside jokes, mild roasts, birthday chaos, memories, goofy fictional situations and affection are all welcome. If you would comfortably play it in front of the person, you are probably in the right zone.
Not allowed
Do not use TaleTone to share phone numbers, addresses, passwords, private images, identifying details, threats, hate, sexual content involving minors, explicit material, or allegations of crimes, health conditions or other sensitive facts. Do not use it to impersonate, harass or target someone.
Public sharing
Songs are private until you use the share action. When you share, the song can be opened by anyone with the link. Think before you send, especially when the song identifies a person or includes an inside joke.
Report a song
Every shared song has a Report link. We review reports and may remove public access or restrict use where needed. Use it if a song crosses the line.
